Three Years

Happy third anniversary to my love. 

I am truly blessed to have such an incredible man in my life.

In three years we've experienced...

Living in 3 states

Living in 4 apartments

Having 5 jobs

Graduating college

Seeing 2 sibling married

Sending 3 siblings on missions 

Pregnancy

Delivering our first son

Parenthood

and

Lots of learning, loving, growing, patience, 

and 

most of all

Happiness!

You know your Husband loves you...

When he goes out at 12am for some Abreva,
so your emerging cold sore won't ruin a week of family reunions,

and it takes an hour because he has to go to Walmart since Smith's and Walgreen's are closed. 

Yes, my husband loves me. 

And I love him!

How did I do it?

How did I ever have my own room? 

How did I ever fall asleep all alone? 

Since being married I've gotten into the habit of always being the first to fall asleep. If Mike falls asleep before me it is really hard for me to get to sleep. Now I realize that it's going to be hard to break that habit. 

Mike started his new shift today:

Sunday-Wednesday

3:30pm-2:30am

Needless to say, I can't fall asleep without him here.
This will not be good when I start teaching next week at 7:30am.
Rachel, go to sleep!

2010...Looking Back

2010 has jumped the charts as one of the best years of our lives. 

What made it so great, of course, was bringing our first child into the world 

and welcoming him into our family. 

Here are a few memories and photos to document this great year.

MIKE turned 24 on January 2nd, and we had a great birthday
and new year celebration with friends and family

I found out that ALL of my best friends were also mothers-to-be

We said FAREWELL to Kimmy as she left for Everett Washington

We celebrated VALENTINES by keeping our Chili's tradition

We found out we were having a little BOY! 

We worked hard to get the NURSERY ready 

Had a wonderful visit in March by RALEIGH family

We said a sad GOODBYE to Brad and Kelly who moved to Georgia

My BELLY finally popped

We celebrated Mike's sister Kriste and my brother Braden's GRADUATION

Mike STABBED his hand in a battle with frozen sour cream

Family and friends threw me three wonderful BABY SHOWERS

Chris and Tregani were MARRIED

My Our belly's got really BIG 

But mine was still BIGGER

We welcomed CURTIS JAMES KITTO into our family

July 22nd, 2010

7lbs 11oz, 19" 

We fell instantly in love with our PRECIOUS BOY

I celebrated my 24th BIRTHDAY by celebrating motherhood.

We also had a birthday dinner/movie the week before.

In August we said another GOODBYE to our friends and cousins 

Anthony, Alyssa, Anthony and Adam who moved to Georgia

(I'm not liking Georgia very much these days...)

In September we took FAMILY pictures

We BLESSED Curtis on September 5, 2010

In October we celebrated HALLOWEEN as a new family

We have a very HAPPY baby

We spent THANKSGIVING in Texas with my dad and family

Jesse and Alysha were ENGAGED (on our anniversary)

On December 18th we celebrated our TWO-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

We went to La Jolla Groves and the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas concert

CHRISTMAS was wonderful with lots of family and celebration

We are SO BLESSED!
