Blessed

Yesterday evening Mike and I were leaving our apartment to go up to my parent's house. On our way out we saw our neighbor across the way and we waved and said hello. We walked over to our car and then realized she was walking towards us with two bulk diaper boxes.

She asked us, "do you two know of anyone who could use these? They're both full of baby clothes." (she didn't know we were even expecting)

I asked, "are they girls or boys clothes?" (of course knowing that I could find one of my many pregnant friends who could use little girl clothes)

She said, "little boy clothes."

We both said, "WE CAN! We're having a little boy this summer!"

She replied, "oh that's wonderful! There's a lot of nice clothes in there and I didn't just want to give them to DI yet. I also have a bassinet in the car that has more clothes in it if you two want to look at them before I take them to DI."

"Of course!" we said.

We ended up having three bulk diaper boxes full of clothes and blankets and shoes and more! A few of the outfits were still brand new and still had tags on them. What a blessing! Most of the clothes just needed to be washed and now they look like new. The neatest thing is that the styles and sizes will be perfect for our little guy. The bigger the sizes the warmer the clothes get. Their baby must have been a summer one too. It would have easily cost us $200-$300 to buy everything ourselves. (it's hard to see just how many clothes there are in the picture). I feel so blessed and am grateful for a Heavenly Father who I know is watching out for us!

As Anthony's gotten older we've had to buy some, but not many becasue people keep giving us clothes! It is sooooo wonderful. I really hope we keep having boys until Anthony is done with school so we can just keep using the clothes over and over again ha ha
