Two Months

Curtis had his 2 month check up yesterday. He's a growing boy! 12 lbs  9 oz, 22 inches long. He was such a trooper while getting his shots. When the first one when in he didn't really know what happened. During the second he realized it hurt. By the third one he was screaming. Poor little guy. He seemed okay the rest of the day until later in the afternoon and evening when he started screaming like I'd never heard before. I gave him some baby Tylenol and just tried to comfort him. It was so sad to see him so unhappy. Made me cry too.

Things I want to remember about Curtis at two months:

-His adorable smile
-How aware and alert he is
-What a great sleeper he is. He is now sleeping through the night from 10pm-7am. Before he would wake once at 4am, eat, and go right back to bed until 7am.
-How big he's gotten. He is out of nearly all of his newborn clothes.
-How he likes to grab and pinch things when he's nursing; he has to have something to hold onto.
-He is quite the gassy boy. The Dr. said it had nothing to do with my eating, and everything to do with him swallowing so much air while he eats. (which he definitely does). We try to burp it all out but a lot still gets stuck in there.
-His darling cheeks and pouty lip
-His blessing day was so wonderful.
-He is still a very calm and snuggly baby. He is often content to just rest on my tummy even when he's awake.
-How much we love him! He is such a joy to have in our home.
