Let the Fun Begin!

So, this is new, scary, exciting, frustrating, interesting. We've officially joined the world of the blogs. Interesting name, "blog." I had the hardest time creating a name for this thing; gave myself anxiety in the process.

Well, Mike and I are living in Portland, Oregon, for the summer. Mike's selling security for Pinnacle Security. He's doing a great job and things are really starting to pick up. He's out nearly all afternoon and evening working, working, working. He works so hard for us! I'm a lucky woman!

I've been spending my days mostly at the apartment (which, might I add, is void of AC and getting increasingly hot every day). I'm trying to find a part-time nanny job, but scheduling and summer trips make the search a bit more complicated. I've been having a good time with the other wives who are here with their husbands. I have a few projects that I'm excited to get started on soon (wedding book, Mike's mission book, organizing files, finances...).

Once I figure out how to use this thing I think I'll grow quite fond of it! :)
