1 Month

I started this post 2 weeks ago when Curtis was just 4 weeks old. Now he's almost 6 weeks. Where has the month gone? I know where it's gone. It's gone to holding Curtis, playing with him, kissing his squishy cheeks, trying to make him smile, comforting him when he has tummy pain, watching him sleep, listening to his squeaks, and loving him more than I ever thought possible! 

Things to remember about Curtis at 1 month old

1. His perfect little features. I'm sure I've spent hundreds of hours just staring at his little face. 

2. His grunting. This is is favorite way to communicate.

3. His "poop" face. His eyebrows go down, and he does the funniest little smile.

4. How trusting and relaxed he is. 

5. How much he loves his baths! And how stinking cute he is in his tub.

6. How much I love watching Mike with him. 

7. What a good sleeper he has been. Consistent 5-6 hours a night. One midnight feeding between 2-4am.

8. How quick he nurses. Never more than 15 minutes.

9. He is very observant and loves to look around at things. He is a curious boy.

10. How I hate to put him down. He changes every day and I don't want to miss a minute of it. 

11. He wore newborn diapers until 5 weeks, and is now in between a newborn and a size 1. 

12. He can wear some 0-3 month clothes, but most are still too big.
