I've always loved beginning a new year. I love being able to have a fresh start and I love making new goals. I always like to make just a handful of attainable goals for the year, rather than have a huge list of things.
These are still a work in progress...
1. Daily personal prayer, on my knees, morning and night
2. Daily scripture study, with paper and a pen, for at least 20 minutes
3. Exercise at least 3 days a week, for at least 30 minutes
4. Lose 10 lbs by May 1st, 2011
5. Make dinner ever week-night (weekends we're usually out on a date, with friends, or with family)
6. Limit daily recreational computer time to 1 hour (this is for social blog hopping, facebook, and random browsing...excludes lesson planning, work emailing, Relief Society emailing, etc)
7. Spend 1 full hour totally focused on Curtis (not trying to multi-task)
8. Daily reading time for at least 20 minutes
9. Write in my journal and update the blog weekly
10. Make weekly contact with friends and out-of-state family
Those are some great goals! I totally need to limit my "recreational computer time" and one hour of total non-multi-tasking focus on Preston (as I type this next to him while he plays in his play gym).
